Why Join?

Because making a home is more than unpacking boxes, and no one understands that more than the members of the Fox Chapel Area Newcomers Club (FCANC). We also know how isolating being the "new face" can be. Becoming a member of FCANC is a low stress, easy way to start connecting with your community and making friends.

We welcome and need volunteers to help keep FCANC running and thriving. Volunteering provides all members an opportunity to get to know other members very quickly. Please consider getting involved.

Who's Eligible?

Membership is open to anyone who has moved within the last 7 years into the communities that comprise the Fox Chapel Area, or to a surrounding area that does not have a Newcomers Club. We strive to be as inclusive as possible, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the executive board.

How Do I Join (New Members)?

It is easy! Prospective members are permitted to participate in 2 activities with the club prior to officially joining. Just email us at [email protected] to find out what activities are coming up.

When you want to officially join we ask you to click on the button below, complete the questionnaire and pay the membership dues via the link within the online form.

When is open enrollment for current members?

Renewal of your membership dues will be active between May 1st and June 30th (annually) and the link for payment will be in the "members only" section of this website. This renewal window greatly helps us plan our budget by knowing how many members we expect to have for the upcoming year. Thank you for your prompt consideration.

My Membership has Lapsed, how do I reinstate my Membership?

Please note that annually from July 1st the annual dues will include a reinstatement fee. Use the link below to pay for reinstatement. The payment will trigger a response from membership to gather your contact information. Thank you for returning!

What does My Membership Cover?

The annual membership dues cover club operating costs, social events, activities including book club and/or kids krew, and admission to general meetings with guest speakers several times a year. In addition, membership dues provide access to the Membership Directory and the private Facebook group.
